What is YouTube Auto Replay?
YouTube Auto Replay is a Firefox addon which adds a replay functionality to YouTube’s video pages.
How to use it?
After installing the addon, a Replay button will be added to YouTube, allowing you to loop the video clip.
For sharing your loops, use the built-in EZ Looper (http://www.ezlooper.com) button.
What is it good for?
- Listen to a song again and again.
- Excellent for musicians who want to practice on a specific part of a song.
- Saving the world.

I’d like to say I resolved my issue by disabling HTTPS Everywhere from working on youtube.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I’ve downloaded 2.5 of this and it used to work perfectly, but now the button doesn’t show up at all thus I can’t set it to loop 🙁
It works when watching the video in its own link, but when you are watching videos from the uploader channel, i mean: videos menu on the left and the video on the right, then the repeat button doesnt appears… i hope is clear… mm
Just downloaded v2.1, really great software. Being a programmer myself I can appreciate the effort and potential difficulty of a project, so I hope you’ll take my following comments exclusively as an intention to be helpful out of interest and in no case to undermine or underestimate your work.
So two minor issues, might be the only one having them, though I installed it in 2 PCs so far and they both appear to have these issues.
(Both systems with Windows 7 + Firefox 4)
1)The “x” button top right to close the expanded window doesn’t work, appears to just be an image, though cursor changes to hand when hovering over it.
2)The explanation window, when hovering over the Replay Options button, is expanding “over” the button where it gets hidden behind the player, whilst observing the default buttons of youtube below the player, it seems they solve this by expanding “under” the buttons.
Seeing that the latest version was created back in 2010, I’m assuming the reason for these issues is probably some further UI code changes of youtube.
And again great software, many thanks for creating it.
Currently does not work, no such button Replay options, youtube have changed again ?
This is great, much needed & works well. Thank you very much.
PS computerfreak’s installation instructions worked perfectly
hello
thank you for this really good addon. I really like it.
But as I see it it has two small flaws at the moment, the replay-button is placed a little bit too far down, not aligning in the same height as the “normal” youtube buttons. Also the text that shows when hovering with the mouse over the button is not on top – its underneath the film, thus making it hard to see.
Regards,
Olof Nord
works great, anyway you could update to the new youtube spritesheet ? just align the replay option button with the other ones.
thx
I have a couple of minor issues: When you hover your mouse over the “Replay Options” button, the black tool tip/pop-up appears above the button, but beneath the video’s layer, so you can’t read what it says. The standard Youtube-buttons have these appear below instead.
It would also be nice if a second click on the button would hide the looping options.
Anyway, nice and clean add-on otherwise.
Works great, but it took me a while to figure out how to turn it on.
Under the video, there is row of buttons with “Replay Options” on the
far right, click it.
